Meet Your Local Owners

Dustin Walsh and Christeen Leal have lived in the Denver area collectively for over 12 years, enjoying outdoor adventures together since 2013. Christeen brings her 9 years of Special Education to the Club. With Dustin’s background in Emergency Management, their experience in planning, people skills, and passion to ensure equity for all, is why they are invested in the Club’s mission. They want to build a welcoming community and a safe and understanding space for all families. They are grateful for living in a state that is strong in supporting the special needs community. Dustin and Christeen opened The Sensory Club Denver’s doors in September 2021 and the adventure has been fulfilling!

Each club independently owned and operated.

A super nice facility with awesome equipment and kind staff and a really nice, low pressure, welcoming atmosphere for both my little girl who is significantly impacted by her autism and her typically developing two year old brother. 🤗 Local businesses that understand and help the disability community are awesome! We got a membership right away after our first visit. It’s so nice to be at a place where my little girl can be herself and have fun!

A great place for my son to roam and play and burn off lots of energy! The place has extensive play equipment that challenge him and keep his attention: climbing wall, trampoline, deep ball pit, bouncy balance beams, rolling slide, crawling tunnels, and so many different swings that work his body in specific ways. The MSE room is very unique, please try that! The large gym is all carpeted and kids can tumble around. The memberships are affordable and well worth it be have this place as a part of your kids routine.

Checked out this great sensory gym today and we loved it. The Sensory Club Denver was perfect for Grace. Only one other family was in there, it was quiet and full of all of our favorite swings, crash pad, and mini trampoline. The small gym had the perfect sized ball pit, that fit four of us! The multi-sensory room was the best! Low lights, giant bubble tower, projector with twinkling lights, and the best part…a chair and a beanbag that are Bluetooth connected for music and vibration to the beat. I hooked Grace up with her favorite Taylor Swift and she was in heaven ❤ I highly recommend it!

This place is amazing! The staff are kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The space is safe and really nice and clean. There is an area for every interest and sensory need. I can’t say enough positive things about the Sensory Club Denver. So very glad we got a membership!

A really fun and relaxing place for people who have sensory issues or who have loved ones like ours that just need a place to be themselves. This is a new place and the owners truly care about people and their families that just need a place to be. The gym is great and our son loves it. We came on a day for autism parents and families and we will be joining. Can not stress enough that the owners really want this to be a community and they can count us in!

My 11 year old son had his birthday here and the owners went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and safe! There’s a giant indoor gym that’s safe and accessible to all kids and adults with disabilites and there’s a multisensory room with amazing lighting and customizable features. It’s a well thought out and clean space. The owners work with multiple organizations as well and are very helpful with funding options. Highly recommend!!!

We took our center program class here for a field trip, and we had such a great experience! The Sensory club has options for kids of all abilities! The facility was very clean, has all of the best sensory equipment, and staff are very kind and inviting. Everything about the environment is adaptive and fun! I highly recommend!

My son goes here with his ABA provider. He loves this place! The environment and staff are inclusive to his needs. As somethings are geared towards differently able individuals they rarely meet the needs and expectations from the severe end. This place knocks it outta the park.
